VBS is coming!!

IF you want to shoot VBS this year – you MUST have a LANYARD with the VBS logo on it!!  So it means NEW ONES for EVERYONE!!!  Jennifer NEEDS to know if you plan to shoot it so that we can be sure you get on!  PLEASE email Jennifer at jenniferf@crossroadschurch.com    IF you need a background check too… let her know!!

There is another opportunity to shoot if you want to…  IF YOU WANT TO shoot this… please let me know and I will give you her phone number!    Leann Noboa wrote and asked…  My husband Edison and I are celebrating our 25th Anniversary on Saturday June 19 at 6 pm and renewing our vows with Pastor Daryl. It’s going to be in our back yard here in Corona.

I am going to be changing BLOG sites soon too… I thought this one would be easier to keep separate from my personal ones… but it is NOT =) HAHA!!

TONIGHT…

I didn’t post this one – but a few of you knew about it… The couple cancelled out on tonights shoot!!  Today is Thursday June 3rd =)

ALL of the NEXT few weeks shoots MAY be postponed!!  BECAUSE we do have a BABY coming =)  HAHA!! BUT we are still planning =)

The Black and White BALL… is this Friday night!!  WE can go and shoot it!  Black and White ONLY!  You can shoot it in color and change it to BnW in post processing if you want to do color =)  BUT wear black and white =)

BLACK and WHITE Ball

The event starts at 7:00pm and goes till midnight. It is black
and white attire, semi-formal. It will be in a 40×80 white tent in the
south parking lot behind the offices.

Next SUNDAY the 6th… IF you want to learn YOUR cameras… JOIN us!  I will be out on the patio by the Chapel at 5:30!  I don’t remember if anyone is coming to shoot… SORRY!  My mind has been in a FOG the last few weeks!!

NEXT Thursday the 10th we do have a FUN shoot planned… it is Missy and David’s engagement session. We have an old piano and plan to take it up to skyline to get some really FUN and CREATIVE shots!  I cannot wait!!  We will meet at the Church parking lot at 5:00 – the more people the quicker we will go!  We NEED the bodies to MOVE the piano =)  HAHA!!

THEN Father’s Day – June 20th – We want you to shoot anytime that you can!  It will be a FUN day to shoot and practice with your cameras IF you need to still learn!!  All the events are outside!! It is our Church’s MANDATE  =)

On the evening of Father’s Day we have a TRASH the PROM Dress shoot – WE have a few young gals that want pix IN their prom dresses…  ALL around the campus!!

We have our Photography Ministry meeting THIS MONTH on June 27th!  PLAN to be there!!  I want to set a schedule  of the classes for the Fall… and I need input =)  PLUS I can’t remember what OUR challenge was for this month… I am sooooo SORRY!!  IF YOU DO REMEMBER…. PLEASE let me know =)

There is so MUCH happening…  I am so sorry to NOT post more!  I will TRY harder =)  LOVE YOU ALL!!

Updates…

HI ALL!

First of all I have MANY cards left from Mother’s Day!  I will have them with me tomorrow AT Church – I will be up front at the END of each service tomorrow so YOU can pick them UP from ME =)

Next… NO CLASSES until the 17th of June =) There will be Child care then!

Sunday Nights we are MEETING during the service time! 5:30 – about 6:45 ish  This Sunday Jennifer and I will be PLANNING some fun events and putting them ON the calendar!  So if you want to PLAN with us… JOIN us This Sunday night… I KNOW it is Memorial Day… but we still WANT to meet =)

OOOPS! I forgot…

We are having the CLASSES still!  On Thursday nights… In the rooms to the right inside the Plex! 7PM!!  WOOHOO!

AND Photographers that shot ON Mother’s Day…  YOUR cards are in the office at the front desk!!  BE sure to pick them up!!

Crossroads Photography Ministry!!

WOW!  We have some really FUN things coming up…   This Sunday night is another FAMILY photoshoot… it is with the SAME family we did last night!  We are doing them again because the WIND was so BAD and I want to give the GREAT pix!!  HAHA!!  We shot a few inside and only a few outside… next week ALL OUTSIDE!  5:30pm – 7pm during the evening service =)

PLUS we are going to do a headshot for another man… which will get us practicing our PORTRAIT stuff…  Maybe use some of our lighting too??

AND we can shoot candids for the Black and White Ball that Generate is doing… I am waiting for more info on it…  I KNOW that day is Friday June 4th and it is in the UPPER parking lot.                      UPDATE…..

What a GREAT weekend!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!  All of you photographers are AMAZING!  We took so many MORE photos this year than any other year!!  It was a WOW day!  I was so blessed to get lots of help form our Basic Training group too!!  ALL the photos are DONE!!!

THIS Sunday is our Photography Ministry Meeting =) 4:00 in the Family Room at Crossroads. The challenge is BLUE!  SO bring your 8×10 pic and show it off… what is BLUE to you?? No voting… just showing!!

AFTER the meeting we have an opportunity to do a maternity shoot!!  WOOHOO!  It will be real ministry!!

Thursday night is the night for our class now…  in the rooms inside the Plex…  =)  7pm – 9pm – This week Dean will be working with us on lighting our subjects in BRIGHT light… like for Mother’s Day! So if you want to learn HOW to do that… please join us!!  ANYONE is welcome!!!

Mother’s Day info…

Hi EVERYONE!

I have a quick LIST of the photographers that will shoot on Mother’s Day… I had another list from our meeting – BUT I cannot find it now… SO I am ASKING all of you to let me know IF you planned to shoot that day!  I am a few short…   and have a NEED!!!   I am attaching the stations list of who and where YOU are!  PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHO I LEFT OFF!!!  THank YOU!

I am having a QUICK meeting tomorrow… Sunday morning at 10:45AM on the cafe patio. I am hoping to get more people to shoot that are not a part of the photography ministry!! THEN – get them to join us =)
