This Sunday is is our Photography Ministry Meeting!  4PM in the Family room!!  I hope to see you all there!  Remember… if you want to participate in the Challenge the theme is  “motion” – so print out your MOTION pic as an 8×10 and bring it – hidden =) then I will place them all out at the same time!

We will be talking about Mother’s Day too… and maybe a few more outings together!

We also have our class starting back up right AFTER the meeting!  Please JOIN us!  We will be shooting and playing with light…  It is in the room behind the plex… I cannot remember the new name… it was room C  =)

Photography Contest. This year’s theme is “Magical Moments” and
submissions will be accepted between April 5 and April 30. Entries will
be exhibited in the Library’s gallery, and prizes will be awarded in

general. 1st prize is awarded $250, 2nd prize is awarded $150 and 3rd

What a FUN weekend we had!!  AND I am just BLESSED that YOU have taken time out of your busy schedules to BLESS others AND to DO ministry with US!!!  It is an AMAZING thing to see GOD at work…  =)  THANK YOU!!!

We are having another CHALLENGE…  – MOTION… so bring an 8×10 print of what YOU think MOTION is!  Hide it when you come in… and then we will all vote for the pic we LOVE =)

HI EVERYONE!!!

Here are the directions…  This is for Saturday’s shoot =)

15 fwy South (towards Dos Lagos/Crossings)

Exit Calico make a LEFT

Drive up Calico for about 6 miles

Pass La Sierra stop light

Turn RIGHT on Lake Mathews Drive

Turn LEFT on  Descanso

Take Descanso until it dead ends on Onaknoll Drive

Turn RIGHT on Onaknoll Drive.

The house is the first house on the right: 21213 Onaknoll Drive

Call the land line 951 780-5795 if anyone gets lost.  Usually cells don’t work up there.

We will be meeting at the church – front parking lot at 8:30AM! We will car pool from there so everyone does not have to drive…

Models AND Photographers…   Plan to get there around 9AM!   I am assuming that there is plenty of parking because it is WAY out there!! =)  IF you can’t get there by then… that is ok… but I think most of us will be!! =)

Models will be getting their hair and make-up done while we set up our stuff!!  IF you have any BRIGHT and FUN party stuff – please bring them!!  I have a tea stuff and tables…  we need balloons and cupcakes…  BRIGHT and PASTEL colors!!  OR any other kinds of things!! Dresses and shoes…  any FUN props will be welcome!

PLEASE bring snacks for the day to share… I will be bringing sandwhiches… and so is Jennifer…  a few are bringing drinks too!  SO IF YOU CAN… bring drinks to share – that would be GREAT!!!

Our last meeting was so FUN!  We had the “Spring” photos brought in… and they were ALL BEAUTIFUL!!!  I want to get the WINNER’s pic on here…  =)

THIS WEEKEND…  Are you all ready??   For those of you photographers that want to do the FUN shoot on Saturday – Birthday Party Fun – we will meet at Crossroads parking lot at 8:30AM and car pool it up to Lake Matthews  –  we should be done by 4ish?  =)

SUNDAY… March 21rst!

HEY ALL!

We have our Crossroads Photography Ministry meeting at 4:00 in the Family Room!!  BRING your SPRING pix!! =)  I can’t wait to SEE THEM ALL!!

We are planning to have a FUN time – even tho there is NO real class on Sunday night – we do have a make-up artist coming to show us do’s and don’ts of make-up for our lighting issues as photographers!!  SO COME and join us!!  We will be meeting in Room C – which is right behind the Cafe/ Bookestore – entrance is on the patio!!

How are you all doing with your “SPRING” challenge??  For those of you that didn’t make it to our last meeting – we have set a challenge to shoot what “SPRING” means to us!  Then print it out on an 8×10 paper and bring it to the next meeting – hidden from the rest of us when you come in – then I will take them and put them around the room and we will ALL pick our favorite!!  I think it will be FUN to see all the different pix we get!!
